Dross Sump

SINCLAIR REFINING, a Wyoming-based oil refining company planned for a scheduled shutdown on its equipment maintenance and upgrading of capital equipment. One such pressure vessel to be worked on was a 96’’ diameter carbon steel ASME vessel with a welded 24’’ diameter dross sump at the drain bottom.
